SHEC Labs Signs Licensing Agreement with Trillium
Technology Investments Ltd.
SASKATOON, Canada: - SHEC Labs - Solar Hydrogen Energy Corporation
(SHEC Labs) today announced that it has signed a license agreement
for the exclusive use of a number of motor control, software,
communication and process control technologies owned by Trillium
Technologies Investments Ltd. ('Trillium').
The licensing agreement will allow SHEC Labs to build the control
systems for the heliostats (computer controlled mirrors), which
form part of its solar concentrators. SHEC Labs estimates that with
the license from Trillium, it will be able to produce such control
systems for approximately ten (10%) percent of the cost to purchase
the same.
SHEC Labs has agreed to pay Trillium, as a licensing fee, five (5%)
percent of any net amounts received by SHEC Labs for the sale,
lease or license of solar concentrators produced using this
technology. Any modifications, additions, improvements or
enhancements to the technology become the property of Trillium.
Pursuant to the agreement, SHEC Labs has the option to purchase the
technology in the event that Trillium receives an offer to purchase
the same from a third party. In such event, the purchase price
would be satisfied by the issuance of shares in the capital stock
of SHEC Labs to Trillium.
